In the first exhibition, we play a sim-coached patsy and have difficulty shutting down their offense. Our FT shooting is also bad. Eventually we pull away with rebounds, steals, and inside scoring (lots of assists, too). Not the formula that has propelled our past success...we'll see how the year goes. I might be winding down this career in the interest of freeing up some time for real life.

Oregon has an A- homecourt advantage, even if the team isn't all that great. We just turned the ball over too much. Our rebounding was good but our outside shooting and defense was bad enough that our edge on the boards was counteracted.

Just an exhibition, just an exhibition. Still, not a great sign. At least we kept it close.

I've come to the conclusion that it was just the first two games that were too tough for my squad. They appear to be fairly solid. I'll probably renew for another season. I always enjoyed succeeding despite having to bring in lesser recruits, but was worried that with the upper echelon of DI filling up, we weren't able to compete anymore. Who knows...I mean, we're still fairly mediocre, but at least we're mediocre among postseason contenders.

Good game, as always. And to think, I even changed my lineup to try to stop Harrington.

Also...don't even think about leaving Fordham. You wanted to turn this into a power conference. We're finally headed in the right direction...getting good recruits...beating big name schools....why leave before seeing it through?

Good game...I'm signed up for another year. I'm not going anywhere. Just kinda frustrated that my program has sank into relative mediocrity. Maybe I should've taken a power school when I had the chance. But I do like it here. I wish coachenstein were still around, though. He was a blast.
