I passed up a fair number of high-priced players in the first 17 rounds, because I knew how much I'd be spending in this round.

I left myself the flexibility to take him if he was still available. Figured it was a long shot, but the thought of an OF grouping and top of the order trio of Tim Raines, Brett Butler, and Amos Otis was pretty exciting!
