It's possible that your pitchers just plain suck.

My guess is you lean too young or old when you build your teams. Or maybe you're cheap and cut loose players when the go into arb/arb2.

Could you see a defense moving about as 'animals' as a good defense? Can you name one animal you'd like to play SS?

A bear or a gator would make a fine SS. They may not make a lot of plays but virtually no one would want to advance from 2nd to 3rd.
