i just took over a team. the regular season just ended. i want to switch stadiums (and change the team name). is there an easy way to find out which stadiums are available, assuming no other team will move, without having to manually go thru and make note of where every other team is now?

and without having to be removed from the league? i'd like to just send c.s. a note telling them my new stadium and team name and have them make the change before next season starts.

They won't change the stadium. And, no, there is no easy way to figure it out without removing your team from the world.

So I'm a newb to all this. Just got my first team. I'm not thrilled about my coaches, should I skip the rehire process and hire all new coaches or will I get screwed by that? Also, being a newb, let me know if this is wrong place to ask stuff like this. Thanks!

I wouldn't skip the re-hire process. Check the guys who will accept contracts against the available coaches. If they're somewhere in the middle of the available coaches at that level, I'd rehire them.
