I'll take that bet - championship-winning teams are going to nab 20 total additional points on top of their regular season win total. I think you'll need at least one to win the whole thing.

I would love to win a championship and I am hoping to do so, but it is not my own personal goal. I am shooting for and focusing on 5/5 making the playoffs. I know it is a long shot though.

5/5 would be very impressive. That is goal number 1 for me too.

That's probably too subjective and potentially exploitable

Interesting idea, but don't think it's possible. 'Worst' team is subjective, and we'd probably see a few people put what is not their worst team in, in the hopes of padding wins. With all of the different valuations of players here, most people could put a spin to describe why their 2nd best team is their worst.

I don't want to give away too much of my strategy, but T-Mac will be getting big minutes on at least one of my teams, and I should be able to get at least a moderate assist boost to help out his eFG% so I'm super excited about that.

True, and SAVAGENESS does trump all. I guess it's up to how SAVAGE the commish is feeling. Mega-SAVAGE or Meh-SAVAGE.

I (currently) have Ben Simmons and Buddy “platooning” on different teams.

I was going to take TMac if he was available here to try to get Buddy and Ben on the same team at least once, but no such luck.

As far as divisions, what about a screw your neighbor-esque thing where you can pass a team down the line?

im not sure if that is helpful, but maybe it sparks a better idea from someone else.

I thought we had someone working on (or had worked out) a reasonable solution. Let me go back through fifty one pages real quick and let you know, though lol

Here was the excellent effort by 20ks, to which I made this comment:

I think in league 2, you can switch the 2nd and 5th teams from each division (switch 3 and 21, switch 4 and 22, switch 10 and 16, and switch 9 and 15) and eliminate a lot of the overlap plus add some divisional matchups that wouldn't otherwise happen.

Yes I’m in favor of that model by 20ks.

Figure out the divisions by number, assign a number to everyone and run it through a randomizer, then people enter whatever team they want in to whatever league they want, and then randomize the league (1-5) to figure out which one gets what divisional alingnment.

in other news, it's that time of night where jcred waits till brad goes to sleep to pick. I will not be proxying this time.
