I forgot about the 'ask mike' thread.  I haven't been to the hbd forums in a while.  Its one of my favorites.

In a hitters park like Louisville(In the NL).  Should I be satisfied with a starter that consistantly stays under 5?(ERA)  Or should I be paying more attention to his WHIP?   And whats a WHIP I should be satisfied with?

Louisville isn't that big of a hitter's park.   I'd want my ERA at 4.5 at the worst.    All worlds work a little differently but, if you're at league average in Louisville, you should be doing pretty well in the WHIP area.   Same with ERA.

I won my 1st championship in FC Dynasty and nobody seems to care. Why?

No one cares about soccer.  There's no reason to think anyone would care about sim soccer.  But congrats nonetheless.

25% chance.    But I think Baltimore has virtually no chance.  Unfortunately, I'll fall asleep in the 2nd quarter of that game, like I always do when I watch the Ravens, and miss most of it.

Any comment on the passing of Joe Pa?

Many but I'll pass on a few. I first thought of Bear Bryant.  Coaching greats who were defined by their jobs and both who passed shortly after no longer having those jobs.  Makes me wonder if getting up in the morning with nowhere to go was a contributing factor.    I also thought how sad it is that he wasn't able to leave on his own terms, how he'll be linked to one of the biggest college football scandals forever.  Then I thought about how he reacted to the situation, how he seemed defiant and full of self-importance when he stated "The board need not discuss my future any longer.  I'll be stepping down at the end of season."   It felt like he was saying "I'm JoPa.  I'll go when I want to go."   So it makes me wonder if there's not slightly cooler place in hell for him.  Not because he knew there an assistant coach was sexually abusing children but because he didn't want to know for fear of damaging his program. 

Is there any chance of me re-signing a free agent when he says "I'm filing for free agency no matter what."
