Coach, just wanted to formally congratulate you on getting us into the National Tournament! I was a little surprised though when I saw us come up as a #7 seed. I really thought we'd get a higher seed than a #7 - but I'm certainly not complaining!

Best of Luck - Make us Proud!

We were ahead or competetive for a lot of the game. It shifted sometime in the second half. I'm going to say the turnovers and lack of fouls called on Illinois. I wonder how many of those turnovers were called by the same refs? Hmm...

Coach, don't be down. I know every coach dreams of winning a National Championship, but it's no easy task when you start the tournament as a #7 seed. Don't kid yourself - that was a fantastic season!

#46 SG, #247 Overall, ***; redshirting. I took him on largely because I wanted a guard who could shoot first and we can ask questions about ballhandling and passing later. He's not going to be good on the stripe. Lots of room to grow, in general. I won't be giving him any time for his low post skill, so his total rating might not raise as quickly as would reflect his actual progress. I may or may not spend practice minutes on his FT shooting, depending on if he shows up as a D or higher. I expect his speed to reach the 90s and his athleticism to get to the mid 70s by the time he graduates. His rebounding is very good for a guard.
Harrington had a nice career for us, capping it off as a 2nd Team All American. He's got a pretty good chance of being drafted, in spite of his horrid FT shooting. A good rebounding guard. He'll be hard to replace.

#37 PG, #141 overall, ****; no promises. Leonard Horn is gonna sit his miniscule *** on the bench all year, with his astronomical work ethic, and develop. Maybe he'll even go through puberty. I wish he were more athletic and I wish he could rebound a little. Still, he's a four-star guy and he came cheap. He'll probably be pretty awesome by the time he leaves.

Horn became a damn fine pure PG, with some scoring ability. He still can't rebound at all, but he ran the team well for the last two years. Toby Parish should be able to pick up the slack without too much of a problem, but I'll have to recruit another PG. Horn didn't really win games for us, but I don't think he lost them, either. Adequate, not outstanding.
