I'll get on that in '10.

16th of 711 in a $10 ko. $31.44 profit.

Unfortunately that's all I hit tonight, but enough for $1.64 profit overall. Hell yeah.

So envious that you get to play $10 tournies :)

Any difference in the play?

Resteals are way more possible. Not nearly as many players donk off their chips in the first few levels.

I'm definitely going 5% for cash and sng's, and 3% for mtt's for my bankroll limits. I think the mtt bump is reasonable since they're so obviously my strength. Will probably not push the limit with cash or sng's. I am probably going to get back into sngs more though, now that I can play up through $12's very safely. I just couldn't grind the $2.25's. Not enough upside to keep me interested.

yea the 2.25s I ran for sng madness only. Cashed in over 40% but the actual profit is so small. I have to stop playing the sup turbos when I bored....Thats my achilies right now.

Though both accounts are up since I started tracking FTP is around 140ish and UB around 300. No where near my goal of 500 in each.

If I'd lasted one spot longer in that 10ko last night, I'd have hit $500 on FTP.

But, I had an M of about 2 or 3 and picked up KQ under the gun. Had to shove (was kind of proud of myself actually for not wimping out and trying to grind out the next pay bump) got called and killed by QQ.

Almost every major hand I had last night involved me either having QQ or being busted by it.

KQ utg is a tough spot to be in.

It was an interesting spot because only one guy at the table was really all that deepstacked and he seemed to be playing cautiously and was in middle position. Given that the blinds were going to cut my stack nearly in half, I had to shove and hope to take it down with everyone trying to make the first fairly significant payout bump.

The problem with MTT is the hourly profit is about $6-8 an hour.

Depending on your success with them, 6-seat SnG have a much higher profit/hour.

The hourly rate is something that pokertracker is keeping for me and is real interesting. Obviously cash games do the best. I just enjoy tournament poker more and the feeling of making it through 500+ people and being at that TV table (on FTP at least) is really nice. Then the pay jumps each spot.

TM, Your recent big score, was there any talk of a deal? I have made 2 deals in SnGs (insane I know) but the blinds were high and it was almost a must push on button everytime situation. I would think for the money Im guessing is between 1st and 2nd (150ish?) I would of jumped on a chop no matter my confidence level.

There was no talk of a deal. Although when I got heads up in one of the $1 45's I won, the guy was begging for a deal, but I was killing him, and he was bad, so I said no thanks.

In the $3.30 I finished 2nd in Monday night, I was like a 5-1 dog when we got heads up. The difference between 1st and second was actually about $265 if I remember right. In retrospect, I guess I should have tried to see what he'd be willing to give me to end it there. As it happened, I pulled even within 6 or 8 hands, and we were still relatively deep. Between my competitiveness and inexperience with dealmaking, I think I'll always be pretty hesitant on the matter.
