Less dumbassery in the forums. I'm really not abusive unless necessary. I believe I pointed out, rather abusively, that WifS caved to the whiners and dumbed down the game by creating more FI. Plus I busted billysooner's *** in the classifieds today.

Just got this letter from my AAA Bench coach

Due to a player coming off the disabled list, we've run into somewhat of a pickle down here. After some roster moves, we had to place at least one pretty decent prospect on the Inactive List. Rather than demote a player, we'd rather have you step in and make a decision.

They included a link to a 30 year old medicore player overall 59.

I was just going to ignore it, am I missing something?

His overall is probably pretty high for that level. But it means nothing.

The minors are for developing players. I find it better to that by running the minors yourself. But, as long as you're developing prospects properly, I guess it's not a big deal.

Do you value LH or RH more when looking at SPs?

Do you try to have a good balance (say 3/2) of LH and RH SPs in a 5 man rotation?

My reason for asking is I have 3-4 ML quality LH SPs at AA right now. Would you try to move one and get a RH?

I would. Simply because I prefer RH pitchers. About 60-65% of the AB come from RH batters.
