In season 4 of No Trade Clause and there are six games left in regular season.  I am on a 7 game losing streak and need to go 3-3 in the last six to meet the 4-season minimum win rule of 280.

Am I going to make it? Should the min win rule be applied when I never fell under the individual season win requirement or the first three season win requirement? Can 277 be rounded up to 280 to meet the criteria?

No, you are not going to make it.  Yes, it should be applied.  It can but I wouldn't do it.   Just opens the door for the next owner to say "I only missed it by 3.   EasyE was given a pass!!!"   Then the next guy will say "I only missed by 4!!!"

You've been on the "You must win x-amount of games" list forever.   Probably not.

Is it reasonable to have a minimum win rule in HBD?

I think it should be required.   If a team goes 38-124 in real life, several people are losing their jobs.    Without a MWR in HBD, they're just getting first pick.  So, if a team is 36-55 at the break, there's really no reason they shouldn't finish 2-69.   It's actually better for them.  So you'd get a race to the bottom. 

What about over a period of time, multiple seasons? I met the minimum win requirement over the first three seasons both individually and in aggregate.  I'm two wins away with four to go. Are you saying I should be out?

To the best of my knowledge, I was the first person to create a 4 season MWR.    55/125/195/280.   I designed it that way to "catch" the guys who played the "win the minimum number" game in season 4(which would be 85 if you hit the first three exactly).    I think, if you're hoping to find someone to commiserate with your potential expulsion, you're barking up the wrong tree.  I offer no reprieves to anyone who falls short under any circumstance.

We'll see how good of a commish we have - will he even notice I didn't make it (if I don't got 2-2 in the last four)?
