No kidding. I was gonna write an HBD version of Lost with Kirby Berroa getting eaten by the Smoke Monster. Oh well.

So, after seeing that starting pitcher that went first, knowing that true #1's of that caliber are the rarest asset is all of HBD, and hearing that he was already one of the top two teams in Foxx... I've got to ask the question:

What happens if he dominates the next 5 or 6 seasons in that world? Would anything have been accomplished?

I'm not taking either side here, just find all of this really interesting. Here's another thought. Bornlosers was run off because he didn't earn anything that he had. So, what happens if that starting pitcher wins a handful of Cy Youngs and leads Feamster's team to a few championships. What then would Feamster's legacy be since he wouldn't have truely earned any of it?

Again, I'm not taking either side. I just find this all to be really really interesting now. What's everyone inside and outside of the world think?

One pitcher won't win WS after WS. Keeping 40+ players together should.

It was a random draft order agreed on by everyone except one owner who didn't care until he saw where he was picking.

Was it ideal? No, but Feamster is a good owner. He built a 108 win team up through honest means in a world where that wasn't all that easy.

Also, I can't believe that you of all people are joining the one-man chorus that says one player can make that type of diffrence. If you were good before you'll be good after this. If you sucked before, you might suck a little less but you won't be a playoff team because of the player you get.
