If they're dancing on the dugout, they have to be half-naked.  It's a rule of baseball.  Duh.

Looks like a bad season.  However, I'd expect him to be closer to his career numbers in any given season than his best season numbers.

If you acquire a player in a trade, and assign him to a lower level than he was playing at, does get a demotion penalty?

I've done it many times with no demotion penalty.    But I've seen players on other teams get them.

What would happen to a hitter or pitchers ratings if he was inactive for an entire season? Would his ratings stay the same or would they decrease?

Maybe in your sick, perverted world.

I've seen them take ratings' hits.    Check the unsigned FA after about 30 games.  You'll notice that they've likely taken two hits.  Same principle.
