Game 10: Joe Kennedy throws seven shutout innings and the Spectres hit three homers, including Carlos Delgado's eighth, as they beat Chicago 8-0 for their first home win of the season.

Game 11: The Spectre bullpen falters late; Chicago scores two each in the eighth and ninth innings to rally for an 8-5 victory.

Game 12: Chicago jumps out to a 5-0 lead, then uses four relievers to navigate the final three innings and hold on for a 7-4 win over the Spectres, who fall to 1-5 at home this season.

Divisional play begins with a trip to Philadelphia.

Game 13: Mark Bellhorn hits a three-run homer in the second and the Spectre bullpen throws four scoreless innings as they hold on for a 4-3 win over Philly in the series opener.

Game 14: Game Two goes into the 10th tied at two; Angel Berroa gives Montreal the lead with a solo homer in that frame, but closer Eddie Guardado allows a leadoff blast to Jason Kendall in the bottom half to tie the score at three. Neither team scores in the 11th; with two out in the twelfth, Ken Griffey Jr. hits a three-run homer, his first of the season. Kendall leads off the bottom half with a double but Salomon Torres retires the next three batters to preserve the victory.

Game 15: Carlos Delgado hits his ninth home run, but Philly's Raul Mondesi triples and homers while driving in five runs to lead the Seaphils to a 9-6 win over Montreal.

Game 16: Jason Kendall hits another home run against the Spectres and the Seaphils get a good outing from starting pitcher Sidney Ponson as they earn a split of the series, winning the finale 5-3.

Montreal (8-8) heads to Pittsburgh to face the first place Melons (11-5).

Game 17: Pittsburgh scores two each in the first, second, and fourth innings off Aaron Cook and holds on for a 6-3 win in the series opener. Ramon Hernandez hits his fourth home run for Montreal.

Game 18: Tomo Ohka takes a beating and Montreal manages only five hits off the Melons as Pittsburgh wins 8-3. The highlight for Montreal is Brooks Kieschnick's ninth-inning homer.

Game 19: Kelvim Escobar gets off to a bad start, walking two runners in during a four-run first for Pittsburgh. The Spectres stage a ninth-inning rally, scoring three times to force extra innings, but lose 8-7 in the 10th on Magglio Ordonez' RBI double off Jim Brower.

Game 20: Montreal avoids a sweep by Pittsburgh, scoring four in the first and getting 3.2 scoreless innings from the bullpen to win the series finale, 9-4.

Montreal's first interleague contests of the season are against Chicago and Cleveland.

Game 21: Montreal hits six doubles and Joe Kennedy allows only one run in five innings as the Spectres beat the visiting White Sox, 7-1.

Game 22: The Spectre bullpen lets this one get away; the White Sox score two in the seventh and then put five on the board in the eighth to rally for an 8-5 victory at Comiskey.

Game 23: Carlos Delgado hits his 10th home run of the season in the first inning, but the Spectres are held scoreless after that and drop a game to 3-19 Cleveland, 5-2.

Game 24: Tike Redman thrills the Cleveland crowd with five RBI on three hits as the Classics sweep the Spectres with an 8-2 victory.

Losers of three straight, the Spectres will host the Cosmos to finish the first round of divisional play.

Game 25: Jeremy Bonderman strikes out 10 in eight innings and gets his third win in as many decisions as the Spectres top the Cosmos 6-3. Eddie Guardado gets his fifth save; Geoff Jenkins hits his fifth home run.

Game 26: Montrel scores three in the first and gets a key insurance run in the eighth on Ramon Hernandez' sixth home run to beat the Cosmos 6-5.

Game 27: Carl Crawford steals second base with two down in the ninth, then scores the winning run on Angel Berroa's single; Montreal triumphs 5-4 and takes its second straight one-run decision over the Cosmos.

Game 28: Ramon Hernandez has four hits and Carl Crawford drives in four runs as the Spectres even their record at 14-14 with a 9-5 win over New York. Tomo Ohka gets the win and improves to 3-3.

Two AL opponents, Detroit and Baltimore, are next on the schedule. Both are 15-13.

Game 29: Scott Rolen's three-run homer in the fifth gives visiting Detroit a 6-2 lead, but the Spectres battle back and score three times in the ninth to force extra innings, scoring the tying run on a wild pitch. The next three innings are scoreless; Detroit's Jeff Conine snaps the cold stretch with a two-run homer in the 13th inning. Brooks Kieschnick relieves and gets out of the inning with no further damage. Carl Crawford leads off the bottom half with a single and one out later Carlos Delgado singles. Geoff Jenkins faces Jason Johnson.. BOOM! Jenkins homers, Montreal wins it 9-8.

Game 30: Livan Hernandez walks none in a complete game 8-hitter and the Facerockers even things up with the Spectres, taking the game at Tiger Stadium by a 6-2 score.

Game 31: The Spectres offense goes dark after the first and the visiting Aureoles win 3-2 in 10 innings; Montreal strands two runners in the ninth and another in the tenth.

Game 32: Geoff Jenkins and Ramon Hernandez hit home runs as the Spectres build an 8-0 lead, and Aaron Cook gets his first win of the season as the Spectres prevail, 11-3.

The Spectres get set for yet another West Coast trip, traveling to San Francisco to face the long-time rival 69ers.

Game 33: Morgan Ensberg hits a two-run homer in the seventh to snap a 1-1 tie and the Spectres are as helpless against the Niner bullpen as they were against starter Kerry Wood, dropping the series opener 3-1.

Game 34: Kelvim Escobar goes eight innings and Bret Boone drives home two runs as the Spectres even the series with a 5-3 win.

Game 35: The Spectres fall short, failing to touch Matt Kinney and suffering through a 3-3, 3R day from Niner SS Jimmy Rollins. Frisco wins 5-3 to take the series.

The Spectres will face AL opponents Orange County and St. Paul next.

Game 36: OC pounds out 16 hits, 10 off starter Joe Kennedy, while the Spectres manage only five singles and drop a 9-3 decision.

Game 37: The OC sweeps Montreal, getting two runs in the seventh off Jim Brower (1-4) to snap a 4-4 tie; the Spectres strand two runners in the eighth and another in the ninth.

Game 38: Carlos Zambrano comes within one out of a complete game and Tomo Ohka takes another pounding as St. Paul beats Montreal 7-2.

Game 39: Montreal drops its fifth straight game, losing 3-2 to the Sarlaacs. Eddie Perez' seventh-inning single is the decisve blow off Kelvim Escobar, who pitches a complete game.

The Spectres head home to face Milwaukee (9-30).

Game 40: Montreal hits six doubles and Melvin Mora hits his first home run of the season as the Spectres snap their skid with an 8-4 win over the Krauts. Jeremy Bonderman pitches into the seventh for the win, improving to 4-2.

Game 41: Montreal collects 15 hits, including three doubles by Bret Boone, but the bullpen surrenders nine runs over the final four innings, with newly-called up Jimmy Gobble touched for three runs, and the Krauts get their 10th win, 10-8 over the Spectres.

Game 42: Montreal gets some measure of revenge, scoring four times in the bottom of the ninth to take the serie finale, 6-5. Edgardo Alfonzo's bases-loaded double is followed by Carl Crawford's two-run single.

Montreal heads to Houston to face the Lone Stars.

Game 43: Geoff Jenkins hits two two-run doubles and Tomo Ohka pitches seven solid innings as the Spectres win the opener in Houston, 7-4.

Game 44: Carl Crawford has five hits and scores four runs, and Kelvim Escobar strikes out 10 batters in eight innings as the Spectres roll to a 12-2 win over the Lone Stars.

Game 45: Montreal finishes a sweep of Houston and moves within three games of the division lead with an 8-0 victory. Jeremy Bonderman comes within one out of a shutout, leaving with two down in the ninth. He improves to 5-2 on the season.

Montreal will host Cincinnati next.

Game 46: Ben Sheets has his curve ball working today, and the Stingers carefull avoid Carlos Delgado, walking him three times.. the rest of the Spectres don't take advantage and Cincy wins the opener, 3-2.

Game 47: Geoff Jenkins clubs three home runs and Jimmy Gobble tosses 3.2 scoreless innings in relief as the Spectres pound the Stingers, 10-5, to even the series. Jenkins takes over the team lead in home runs from Carlos Delgado, who hasn't homered in some time, with 12 (Delgado still stuck at ten).

Game 48: The Stingers pound Tomo Ohka, chasing him in the third having surrendered seven runs, and the Spectres manage to turn 10 hits into a single tally as they drop the series finale 9-1.

More interleague play next with Kansas City and Atlanta next on the schedule.

Game 49: Both teams score three times in the first inning, but the visiting Blue Devils keep scoring while the Spectres go into a lull. Montreal eventually hits three home runs in the game, but all are solo shots, and KC wins 9-6.

Game 50: Ramon Hernandez hits a ninth-inning grand slam to cap a five-run rally that forces extra innings, but KC's bullpen oulasts the Spectres', with KC scoring in the 13th on Edgardo Alfonzo's error to win a 7-6 decision.

Game 51: The Spectres give another one away late, losing 5-4 in Atlanta when Paul Konerko snaps a tie game with a leadoff homer in the eighth. With men on the corners and one down, Montreal threatens in the ninth, but Greg Norton and Geoff Jenkins both strike out.

Game 52: Bret Boone hits two home runs and drives in five, but it's Jimmy Gobble who is the star of the day, pitching 7.1 scoreless innings after Aaron Cook is chased in the third; Montreal finally wins a game, 10-4.

Montreal will host Los Angeles next.

Game 53: Montreal falls behind 10-1 after four innings as Tomo Ohka takes another beating, but the Spectres stage a crazy rally to force extras, tying the game in the ninth on Angel Berroa's triple. Felix Rodriguez allows a leadoff home run to Craig Wilson in the 11th as LA retakes the lead. Montreal loads the bases in the bottom half but Edgardo Alfonzo grounds out to end it. LA wins 12-11.

Game 54: Montreal collects 14 hits and eight walks and gets solid pitching from Kelvim Escobar as they even the series with an 11-2 win. Melvin Mora, Angel Berroa, and Carlos Delgado hit home runs.

Game 55: Montreal scores one run in each of the first four innings, three of them coming on solo homers, and the bullpen holds on for a 4-3 win over the Looters. Jeremy Bonderman goes six innings for the win, his sixth of the season.

The second round of divisional play begins with a visit from Philadelphia.

Game 56: Three Spectres get five hits as they destroy the Seaphils 22-2 in the series opener. Bret Boone has a single, three doubles, and a home run, driving in seven. Jake Westbrook throws three scoreless innings in relief and gets a bogus save.

Game 57: Philly evens the series with a 9-5 win in 10 innings, scoring four times off Brooks Kieschnick to decide things. Raul Mondesi and Edgardo Alfonzo had traded solo homers in the ninth to send the game to extras.

Game 58: Tomo Ohka has his first good outing in weeks (six innings, one run allowed) and the Spectres take the series with a 6-1 victory. Jim Brower throws three scoreless innings for a save, the Spectres' second blowout save of the series.

Now five games out of the division lead and three back of the wildcard, Montreal gets ready to host division leader Pittsburgh.

Game 59: Pittsburgh takes the opener 6-4 behind Gil Meche, who improves to 8-1 on the season. Montreal gets only four hits, including two-run homers by Edgardo Alfonzo and Carlos Delgado.

Game 60: Game Two is a slugfest that goes Montreal's way in the end, 11-10. Bret Boone drives in six runs; Eddie Guardado pitches a scoreless ninth for his 10th save.

Game 61: Montreal drops the series finale 6-4; Joe Kennedy and Mike Remlinger combine to allow five runs in the sixth, and the Spectres can't come back.

The Spectres head to New York to face the Cosmos.
