What's the best way to use  Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Calvin Satou ?

As a SP.   Set his PC at 55-65(more or less) and he'll be able to pitch every 3rd/4th game.   You want to maximize his innings, unless you have an unbelievable pitching staff full of better pitchers, and SP is the best way to do that.  No idea why he got destroyed in San Juan but he's much, much better than that.  I'd expect 1.2 WHIP(or less) and a very respectable ERA with an average D in an average park.

What about using him as a SuA with a moderate pitch count and having him throw like 2 innings every game in relief? Would that work?

That's another option.  However, I don't feel you'd maximize his IP.   The only pitchers you truly control are the SP.   Simmy is responsible for RP.    I'd expect a 32/52 of his caliber to get 140-160 IP as a SP.   And maybe 120 as a RP.   To me, that's a waste of 20+ innings.

I seldom use closers any more.   But, if you're going to use one, no.

Here's a first from me;  Why is this guy Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Cody Ransom  playing so well?  I primarily took him in the R5 just for defensive purposes but I cant believe how good he's been for this 1 1/2 seasons.  Will he come crashing down to earth one day, or could this be close to expectations?

He should come crashing down to earth.   No way should he be averaging a HR every 18-19 AB.   He'd have trouble hitting one out of my living room.

Nah.  Low level CS has always been bad.  You have to be nice enough or jerky enough to get bumped up the ladder.
