From the ulta-liberal Newsmax:

Data released on Friday showed a return to strong job growth in the United States, allaying some fears the U.S. economy is on a short path to recession. But the data also reinforced the view that economic growth is slowing.

Here are some take-aways from a report by the U.S. Labor Department on U.S. employment during June.

SLOWING GROWTH

Every month the Labor Department surveys payrolls in the private sector to calculate how many hours employees across the nation worked. Seen as a proxy for economic growth, this index of the national work effort grew 0.2% in June, a rate near the muted gains clocked in recent months. That suggests the U.S. economy, which grew at a 3.1% annual rate in the first quarter of this year, could be cooling.

COOLER WAGE GROWTH?

Growth in private sector average hourly earnings accelerated throughout 2018 and through February of this year, when year-over-year growth hit the strongest rate since 2009 at 3.4%. June's growth rate, however, was a more modest 3.1%. It is probably too early to tell if there has been a break in the upward trend.

WAGE LAGGARDS

The manufacturing sector added 17,000 jobs in June after several months of weak growth or outright decline. Wage growth in the factory sector, however, has underperformed the national average. Wage growth has also been lower in the education and health jobs category tracked by the Labor Department.

Is President Donald Trump losing his fight to save coal? Third major company since May files for bankruptcy

Nearly 2,000 miners across four states may lose their jobs after yet another major coal company filed for bankruptcy this week – the third since May and fourth since last October.

The bankruptcy filing from Revelation Energy LLC and its affiliate Blackjewel LLC, the nation's sixth-top coal producing company in 2017, comes amid President Donald Trump's ongoing efforts to boost the flagging industry.

The Trump administration rolled out a rule last month aiming to extend the lives of aging coal-fired power plants across the nation. Environmentalists say the Affordable Clean Energy rule would trigger premature deaths, including from lung disease.

During his 2016 presidential campaign, Trump promised to revitalize coal and save miners' jobs, despite scientists linking the burning of the fossil fuels to global warming, but the industry has continued to suffer losses.

Jobs...Have two, they’re small.

Coal...It’s good for you.

His job numbers are another artificially propped-up LIE.

You sound typically SUBurban.

SOooooooooooo..........................................

The economy is growing stronger and faster than at any time under the former LIBERAL administration.

The manufacturing jobs the FORMER administration said would NEVER come back are here and growing.

Once the democrats approve the USMC deal and we get the CHINA deal, the economy will explode.

Where's Nancy Pelosi when you need her? Most transparent? Where are you Nancy. America needs you NOW!

IF I DIDN'T KNOW BETTER I would have to say you rejoice in bad news and want Americans to HURT and FAIL.

But I also know your next post will be something positive about TRUMP because you are fair and balanced.

asp, you sound like you've been reading too much of dino's garbage. His total lack of reality is spreading into you.
All the lies and made-up BS Libs, Dems or whoever you want to call them, spread about Trump, and you want to say his numbers are lies? Delusional much? What do you base that accusation on, the close relationship Trump has with the media - the one's reporting those numbers?
I'm certainly a lot of things, but SUBurban definitely isn't one of them. Maybe keep your false assumptions about people to yourself.
I'm sure my intelligence level is nowhere close to yours. On that we will agree.
So much so that there's no reason to continue reading your posts either. I'm sure you and dino will enjoy each other very much.

That's not helpful and you still haven't given us your solution to global warming.

And all3 knows I love his spirit and he understands my satire and tricks. Not that I play any.

Now...if I let this rest, you'll come back with the latest trash you heard from PMSNBC or FAKE PUBLIC RADIO and the DEMONAZI controlled media.

All you do is complain. You never present a solution. I am getting weary.

I don't want to go nuclear so I ask you stop wasting our time and give us answers.

This is me reaching out and at least trying to talk to one of you.

I would be willing to discuss any issue with you. Or anybody.

Last chance before I take back the ranch.

one exhibit would be the paris accord....the regulations trump ended......to start with...to give you scientific recommendations i will have to look it up.....it is a good thing to do to be better educated.
but bottom line the world needs to treat this like it is dec 8,1941 and we just got a dose of reality.
there needs to be a unified response that is strong.

GOOD ANSWER! Except I'll probably shred it, but at least you gave me an answer. Let me look at it.

Here's a quickie...Do you believe AOC and we only have 12 years left before global warming destroys us?
7/6/2019 3:32 PM
What was in the Paris Accord? I DON'T KNOW. I don't know what was in it. I would like more transparency.

I heard things about it & I didn't like what I heard. It sounded like the AMERICAN TAX PAYER was funding the world.

AGAIN!

If memory serves, China and Russia and India and almost everybody was off the hook and could kick in 5-10-15-30 years later, if ever. I don't think that's a good deal. Even Obama with his majority couldn't get it passed. The end result was we would have to have raised taxes on ourselves to give away to our friends and enemies. We do have enemies. They don't like us. They are coming across the border everyday. We`'re gonna get hit something fierce.

I want to see what technology INDIA and CHINA are willing to purchase from us to make CLEAN COAL. And that's just #1.
