Game 127: Alex Fernandez strikes out 11 batters in seven innings and the Spectres take the opener in LA, 4-1. Randy Johnson matches Fernandez' strikeout total but also allows four extra base hits (the Looters collect only one extra base hit)
Game 128: Jay Buhner's two-run homer is the only scoring Montreal can muster, and Greg Cadaret throws three scoreless innings in relief as the Looters even things up with a 6-2 win.
Game 129: LA gets off to a fast start, scoring four in the first off Dennis Rasmussen, but the Spectres stay within striking distance and then stage a ninth inning rally off a tired Greg Cadaret, who walks three batters and allows one hit without retiring anyone. He walks Ken Griffey Jr. to force in a run before being removed for Alejandro Pena. Ken Caminiti greet Pena with a three-run double to tie the score. Ron Hassey and Jay Buhner later add RBI singles and Rick Aguilera throws a 1-2-3 ninth to preserve a 9-7 win.
We head home to face Atlanta.
