I actually count 14 prospects for rls.

Kevin Maas was much better than D.J. Hmmm.
Don't want say I told you so, but I told you so!!!

You were right on about Sexson though....Big STIFF!

you're right, bry, my excel macro erred by not considering Scott Elbert and Scott Elber (typo) equal. I'm an idiot. That said, rls gets a bump to #6.

knowHIM got slammed for the A-Rod trade (full disclosure: to me), but I gave up some good stuff in that deal--which is part of why he ranks so high here.

McGowan, in particular, looks like he's going to be really good.

yeah, in hindsight i feel bad for blasting the a-rod and mauer trades. was rather frustrated by the mauer deal because i really wanted him with my #1 overall in the original draft, he went one pick before me, i got mark prior, and the rest is history.
sorry knowHIM, 2 years too late.
so.....anybody want to talk trade?

Scratch that idea - found some errors, so I'm gonna take this night to fix those. Ain't gonna change the write-ups, but might shift the order and some of the rankings a bit.

i'd like to talk trade. we've got a ton of offense and prospects, but little pitching. i could begin by offering up 1B Conor Jackson and OF Michael Bourn, though we can go deeper than that, too.

I'm jonesing, chazzzzzz. Gimme my fix!

Thanks! Nice eval. My only real disagreement is that I don't feel really "set" in the OF; I need one of those guys to either develop into (Delmon?) or regain (Vernon?) a big middle-of-the-order bat. Right now I'm losing most of the advantage I gain with the infield bats by having a below-average hitting OF. We'll see what 2008 brings.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah.

There are at least 20 owners shedding a tear for poor Robby right about now. It must be horrible to have Wells and Delmon Young in the OF.

Sniff, Sniff.

You have reached the answering machine of the Prospect Reporter. He's not in right now, so please leave a message after the tone......

And if jrny mocks anyone when his team still hasn't shown up yet, he should go call the waaaahmbulance himself.

Don't cry for me Argentina.

My issues are not with my club... I have issues trying to get 20+ owners to put up the $30 for an APPA gift cert .

Don't forget to paste your confirm in the thread everyone...

Dustin Pedroia year-to-date:

Avg .327

  • HR 1
  • RBI 13
  • Runs 14
  • SB 3
  • I think he'll play 2b for me for a long time (he better, since I traded away a heck of a lot to get the former ASU superstar).

*Thanks for your objectivity. Always nice when a second set of eyes takes a look at your group.

You're right, totally overlooked him. Perhaps I just wanted to weaken the team a bit so I won't have to look up at them all the bloody time in the standings.
