Maybe you can trade your AAA to a team that can use them in return for some of their lesser players. Who could then serve as your backups...

Are non-AAA teams not allowed to trade their AAA players? I thought that would be within the rules.

No. Non-AAA teams cannot trade their AAA. That has been a rule from season I.

Colorado Diamondbacks. Bought a six pack, thought I'd play a couple live leagues.

If allowed, I'd play with the Florida Devil Rays as well. Don't know if anyone is taking two teams, but, thought I'd put that out there.
