when do you think stadiums start being selected? 

I noticed y'alls surprise at my making Mays # 1 overall, all of the first 6 picks were my top 6 on the board, I stuggled with  decision but eventuallly chose Mays because there is a lot of pitching coming into the league in coming years and Koufax retired after 66 which made it hard to chose him first and wait till 32nd for a hitter, i felt it was not a loss if I took Mays, Koufax, Aaron, Marichal, Robinson or Gibson with #1.

Mays was an excellent choice.  My pick Koufax will have only  181 IP's in 1962 which may be a problem - but followed by 4 great seasons. As for pitching Gibson probably was the best long term pick.  I think most teams will have 2  VG  Starting pitchers  2 good RP's and then the pitching is thin. I guess that goes for the lineups as well,probably 2 power hitters and 2  good hitters for BA/ OB%.  It should be an interesting season.  ht.

My team is gonna suck in 61-62, but we look to Contend 63 on.

I wouldn't have taken Mays first. He was a number 16 or 17 pick at best. ;-)
