First 5 man roster in the books I’m liking my team so far. Low fouling, low turnover%. Somewhere around a 55% efg and 58%ts. No idea how my rebounding and assists stack up but I don’t think they’re a negative.

if I might from my 18 win pit make a suggestion - use the 56% Jerry Lucas - I wanted that 80 D you're using and it did not f-ing do a bit of anything for me

also highlight and back space on those icons please = my eyes!

Lol I fixed it. Yeah the other jerry Lucas season was massive for me back in the day one time in this league. I’m just worried about pairing his low D season with towns. We’ll see I haven’t decided yet

I agree that that season of Lucas is the best (68-69) I also think if he had his two post players have a d rating of 41 and 50 he is asking to get torched against anyone who does most his damage in the paint ie my team.

Yeah exactly I figure with a better D Lucas season and Nance around towns should be strong enough cover. I can’t remember how you can set up defenses though so we’ll see.

Yes. I built a team with him as my 3rd pick and filled out what I thought I could get.... I probably should have done it, tbh. I'm still 50/50 on it

gravity maybe? Kyrie is more of a mid-range guy and doesn't exert so much perimeter gravity
Kyrie makes 174 or 177 3s @40% (depending on whether you want the 2% higher efg & 63 D or 5 more ast% & 68 D ) in 26 or 27 min/g.... Certainly not Lillard numbers, but its still plenty of 3s at a high percentage. You can still have plenty total 3s on your team easily with Kyrie. Lillard isn't a bad pick, but I don't think he's a clear 'upgrade' over Kyrie. I'd rather have the 68 or 63 D over the 48 D with similar offensive production. The extra mins for Lillard are valuable & the extra 3s make team building more flexible, so it's really a coin toss.

Every time you look at the previous draft to figure out who will be available, you get screwed. If a guy was drafted in the late 5th last season, he'll be drafted in the early 4th this season.... and screw up all your hopes and dreams

Yeah I felt like I had to pick everyone early or I wouldn’t get them. I tried to look at a combo of the last two leagues to figure out where people go nowadays

What are people opinions on Larry nance, donyell Marshall, Horace grant and Bobby Jones. Who’s the best as your sf rebound defense specialist.

matter of fit - I like Donyell in lower cap leagues but not here because of his soft efg - the rebounding is about the same for the other 3 although Horace is a little softer on defense than the other two - Bobby passes better, Larry has a little bit more usage - flip a coiin

I don't like using bobby at the 3 I like putting him at the 5 with a high rebounding 4. Grant is my favorite from the other three. Id take Donyell and Nance about the same place. If I need more ORebs and D Id take Nance, but if I need DRebs and threes Id take Marshall.

Now you tell me. My plan was/is to use Bobby Jones at the 4, with Gilmore at 5 and Giannis/Zion at the 3
