In the 110 M theme, I presume we are using strictly Full or Partial seasons, correct? The one player I want that brought this to mind split the season but had the majority of his time on a different team.

That player is fine. Combined seasons are acceptable in all the themes including the 110m - as long as you use the version that matches the selected franchise.

I think I’m mostly done. I plan to rework my $70m a little bit, as I think I can make some improvements. It mostly came together with my first plan, but it’s a little offense heavy. I think this was the right overall idea, I just need to swap a few players around to balance better. I’ll update more on how this turned out in the team write ups.

$80m was the most interesting to strategize around. I built more teams with more variance for this theme than I have for any I can recall (at least 11 wholly distinct strategies with several more iterated off of some of those I felt stronger about).

$100m seemed to just click on the first option I looked at. I maybe could’ve done better, but I’m satisfied enough with this team, that I didn’t really feel the need to even build first pass rosters for my 2nd and 3rd options.

$110m was an absolute nightmare for me. This was the only one I really struggled with. I’ll dive more into it in my team building write up, but this one was tough. I also don’t like my team balance, or my options for parks. But, it took me so many tries to even get a compliant team that I am not going to even try to swap things around.

$125m was one of my favorites ever, though it was one of the easiest for me to draft and I spent the least amount of time on it than any WISC team in memory.

$140m, like the $100m, came together on my first pass and I didn’t really have to make any major adjustments. I might have been able to do better, but I feel good enough about this that I don’t feel the need to look deeper.

For the 140M theme, it states:

Meaning one of your player's park in the season you are using him? Or in any season of their career?

The former - one of your player’s parks in the season you are using them.

I liked reading Just4me's re-cap, thought I'd chime in along those lines.

70M - I think J4M said there was one cap that caused him to spend what ultimately was the most time on any one roster before. This cap did the same to me. I started with a couple premises and thankfully was able to eliminate seven of the 16 teams rather quickly. I though trying to probe each franchise was silly but found that there were strong rosters that were possible for basically all nine of the remaining teams. After fine-tuning my requirements I was able to get down to two teams but then found myself constantly adjusting them. Having only $70M to spend was obviously a major limitation, but trying to fit all 25 of the five-year blocks became puzzling and time-consuming. But fun.

80M - I settled in on my strategy pretty quickly in this theme and built a team I really like in short order. In fact, I like this team so much I'm sure they're doomed to 90 Losses.

100M - I assumed I was going to have to sift through dozens of potential teams to decide which way to go. My first team was pretty solid. After trying a few more runs at it, turns out that I liked my first team after all, by far, and that other efforts fell apart kind of quickly so first team it is.

110M - For goodness sake. Every silly pitfall that can trip up the aspiring roster builder in a complicated got me in this one, sometimes more than once. Realizing at the last second that I had two teams from the same group, or two teams working in the same column. And then, of course, the matter of the $20M per team minimum proved trickier at times to navigate than I originally thought it would.

125M - This one was fun and I really like the team I came up with. Only now did I realize a flaw in my draft strategy and think I will give this one another shot.

140M - A to Z. Harder than it looks. Spent more time trying to identify the priority positions first and then working with the rest of the alphabet later.

Yes, that would be a valid roster as long as everyone else other than your 8 twisted players are from your selected 1972 team or are less than 300k.

The 70m and 100m are the ones giving me the most trouble trying to find the best options.

The 80m team i entered in an open league and it's disastrous so I started over.

I hadded built a pretty good team for the 110m but then noticed the 20m per era so i had to make some adjustments but still happy with the team I have.

The 125m was ppretty easy and I think the pitching staff will be similar for everyone

As for the 140M I built it at the same time as the 80m version for round 2.
