From Ed Barkowitz's article on JVR in today's Daily News
'Depending on how he fares at training camp, which begins in earnest on Sunday, will determine whether he starts the season in the AHL or toiling at Broad and Pattison.
"He's a big guy with good hands, lots of skill, high hockey intelligence," Flyers coach John Stevens said. "That's the reason he got drafted where he did. I'm sure he's as excited as we are to get him involved in the program. You get these young guys - all of them - on the ice with better players and established pros, it's a great experience for them and it's a good time to evaluate for us."'
Now that he seems committed to the Flyers rather than UNH, I have high hopes for him. I think he can score 20 and create a physical presence along the boards and as well as in front of the net.
