I knew special teams were going to be the key to the game. I set my aggressiveness super-low so that I would stay out of the box, and still gave up 3 PP goals.

Holy ****, I gave up a 4-star scoring chance with 6 seconds . My newly acquired goalie (Gulobev) came in after the 3rd goal with 42 seconds and only had to make one save, but it was a big one.

I was hoping against hope that when the server refreshed at the end, we were going to a shootout.

We were out of sync with 8 PPs, 10 PKs, and all that 4-on-4 and 4-on-3. My 3rd-line center only played 7:27 and my 3rd-line LW only played 9:27. Kept going back to my top-2 lines when it finally got back to 5-on-5 because they don't kill penalties and were staying fresh. My idiot coach let all that firepower on the bench.

Won again, but it was against Pdood, so I'm not sure that's anything to really brag about.

my O and D strategies were not what I had last set them at. It may not have made a difference, but neither of the ones employed for tonight's game were ones I even practice. Not sure how the **** that happened.

Now I'm even more confused. Just double double checked the box score, and the systems used are ones I practice, but not what my current settings were listed as. WTF?

I've gotten some strange goals lately. Against Brain, I got an even strength goal from a checking forward (49 offense) and another even strength from a Defenseman, Tonight I got one from a forward that I've been hoping to see improve in shooting accuracy but hasn't (SA 53).

This can't last.
