I find it interesting that so many people didn’t seem to leave themselves with any flexibility. Drafting players with useable seasons at different salary points makes it easier to accommodate an unexpected stud later.

I left some, but clearly not as much as others. I have maybe 3-5 players with alternate seasons I was open to using. So far I've only had to switch one.

I was able to leave myself a good deal of flexibility with position players. Pitching was a bit more difficult - although I was able to adjust just enough to take Frank Tanana when he fell to me.
