I have a few guys like this Hardball Dynasty – Fantasy Baseball Sim Games - Player Profile: Cristobal Gandarilla   Really good contact, eye, baserunning and speed.  Could that carry them in the majors? 

They are.   Stern is easily the most "combative" commish.   No one should ever question anything the NBA does in his mind.  Rome built his career on "stirring the pot".   I'm sure he knew Stern wasn't going to say "Yeah, the lottery is fixed" so he was seeking a reaction.   Victory to Rome.   He's the Madonna of sports talk show hosts.   Finds a way to keep himself relevant.

I wouldn't.   But, if he could play some D, he'd be a respectable reserve.   D and PR.   As he is, he's a poor hitting LF.

I disband the NBA and make them play football.  I think LeBron would be a better football player if he could get over crying every time someone looks at him mean.

I would bet he misses the first half of most games looking for his fake nerd glasses.

Because a poster acted as if FIP was some advanced calculation that was the be all to end all of pitching stats.  It's a simple stat that I could explain to my mom or my wife in about 2 minutes and it gives virtually no credit to pitchers who can locate the ball very well thus making batters chase bad pitches.

Probably not.   Looks like it's only in the WS and I don't have a WS team in any world.

Do you golf?

Not regularly and poorly when I do.   The only club I can consistently hit is the 7 iron. 

when you golf do you: get a golf cart? drink during? smoke cigars? pee in the water hazards? steal other people's golf balls that they left in the rough? do 9 holes or 18?

Cart, drink, no smokes, pee in the woods, no stealing but I will pick up a golf ball in the woods when I'm peeing, 18 holes.
