seriously...stop with the penalties!

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

I was about to give you artificial condolences until I realized that my Canadiens did far worse tonight than your Flyers did!

I knew you couldn't make it until the season started.

What a shame. You were so close to the end.

Posting now is the same as breaking the terms of the bet the day after the finals ended. You could have been posting all summer.

I had a big speech planned giving you props for being a man of your word.

Oh well....

I thought it was REGULAR season, too....

sad, sad man... I ALMOST feel sorry for you.

well, i'm not sure i remember it being stipulated that it was the regular season, so it might have just been implied. and technically the pre-season could be considered the start of the season.

semantics aside, i give him credit for actually carrying through with it. i think most people wouldn't have. :>

i don't give him any credit... first thing he did was come here to post when I have nothing in the bet.

I didn't see him going to the Wings or Pens thread....now did he?

His main purpose was to harrass me...
9/20/2009 7:11 PM
...and annoy everyone else...
9/20/2009 7:45 PM
...it appears he forgot to again attempt to annoy me.
9/20/2009 8:07 PM
give him time.
9/20/2009 8:16 PM
At least when he attempts it with me he first does so in a sitemail manner and rarely (if ever) with profanity. LOL

Meet The Flyers...on comcast sportsnet NOW!

Brian Boucher's cuteness will not make up for his goaltending skillz!

I know that it's only pre-season, but it is still nice to see...

Philadelphia, PA (Sports Network) - Rookie James van Riemsdyk scored two goals to lead the Philadelphia Flyers to a 5-2 win over the Detroit Red Wings in preseason action at theWachovia Center.

Danny Briere, Mika Pyorala and Dan Carcillo also scored for the Flyers, who played their first preseason game on home ice. Ray Emery allowed two goals on 30 shots in the victory.

Jonathan Ericsson and Kris Newbury tallied for the Red Wings while Chris Osgood made 25 saves on 30 shots in the loss.

Also...I've heard a good buzz about Pyorala. He's the 28-year-old rookie.

I saw JVR in action last night... good stuff. Pyorala looked good, too.

Carcillo on the breakaway beating Osgood = never happen again! Biggest toothless smile I ever saw last night after that goal!

Pronger = excellent passer. He just glides along the ice.

Emery = nuts!
