kneeneighbor, last challenge you said we were going to use the rule from the challenge previous to last challenge where the pitchers had to have more starts than relief appearances going forward for eligibilty.

NOW, you change the rule AFTER we select teams and pitchers?

I have to protest this outright.

More starts than relief appearnces="ineligible...YOU" stated this, noone else, you can't change rules simply at your whim.

There were a mulititude of options from pre-1950 that I ignored based of the start/relief precedent YOU had already set.

Now, I'm not being cute here, is this a curveball I will have to become accustomed to? Rule changes like this on the fly/being lied to outright? Is this part of the game?

Is this an exercise in adaptation?

Arvid, hmmm, where were you when I brought this exact point up a couple challenges ago. hmmm, but i would have to agree. I wanted to go with Wally Shang, this would have made it a much better pick.

Why would I? It didn't hurt us. There also was no clarity up to that point, THEN he clarified. Now he is clearly.....unclear.....

calling roseboro a "journeyman" is a stretch.

All pitchers are eligible.

Let me clarify the clarification. When I said all pitchers are eligible I meant that you do not need to use the starter listed in the match ups. Same rule applies to what revilers may be used. I did not say captains needed to assign SPs. Sorry for any confusion.

He did fit the criteria of 7+ seasons and 3+ teams.

PL 81 Cardinals over NL 65 Dodgers: 2-0

One hell of a pitching duel.

Andy Rincon is perfect for 6 and a third before allowing a single, then perfect the rest of the way for a 1 hitter. No walks, no strikeouts.

Koufax also goes 9 innings, allowing 3 hits, 4 walks, and striking out 12. We were lucky to get a couple wild pitches and 2 of the 3 hits all in one inning.

Great game acketyack!

So we cant use multiple SP in one game?
4/9/2010 12:01 PM
Not unless they have a majority of appearances from the pen. However you can choose what ever sp you want to start.

Good job Stevey and you already set a hell of a hurdle for the rest of us on the PL for individual immunity.

Knee - Are there tiebreakers for individual immunity or can we get multiple per team?
