I lost interest in SLB and HD when HBD came along. Didn't care much for GD. Tested CRD and thought I might try it at some point. Right now, it looks like HBD is what I'll be playing in the forseeable future.

Since gravity is working for you as you ski/bobsled/luge/etc., shouldn't they give the medals to those who are able to complete the course and best resist the inexorable force of gravity on the way down (that is, the slowest finish times)?

Now that another curling season is over (at least the one anybody cares about), what would you suggest to improve the game?

Personally, I think they need to switch from a game clock (73 minutes to finish your throws) to a shot clock, say, 1 minute per shot?

Yes, the whole thing takes too long. Shorten it up somehow. A shot clock sound nice.

Better glove always plays where he'll get the most chances.

The ones who keep coming up the with same "great idea" that only applies to their team or world.

Wild rednecks would make good TV but, if you can curl competitively while pregnant, I just don't think being a great athlete is a requirement. So, probably, it's just a lack of experience.

I always hear the cliche pitching and defense wins championships, but if you had to choose just 1, would you rather have great pitching and average fielding, or great fielding and average pitching?

Fielding. Even the best pitcher has the occassional bad game. But you seldom see a good defensive team throw out 4-5 errors in a game.
