Since the bronze medalist and the silver medalist both lost one game (in the medal round, anyway), shouldn't they have a "silver medal game" to decide silver/bronze?

I only watched about 10 minutes of it. I saw about 40 seconds of Neil Young, a couple of minutes of Shatner, a couple of minutes of some older blonde chick, a minute of pipes retracting and about 5 minutes of commercials.

It said in the paper that Young sang a "lyrical" version of "Long may you run". What does that mean? That he didn't sing an instrumental version?

I don't really know what that means. I assumed he sang a different version than the original by adding/deleting/changing some of the lyrics. Maybe to make it more "Canuckian".

It said in the paper that Young sang. Do you think that 75% of the other performers were in awe of how well his lips moved to the music, not realizing that he was actually singing live?
