He will be a little less effective than ordinarily, especially deep into the game. But he's also a total stud.

My best guess is to keep him where he is, but it really, totally depends on how good your top 2-3 rested relievers are. If you've got 3 stud rested relievers I'd drop his count, and if game 6 goes 18 innings and your pen is slagged I'd lengthen his count.

I believe in it. But if the second option is substantially less then I even run my ace at 90%. Link the options for a better answer.
Game 6 is in the PM2 cycle today. My ace is at 84% and will be 100% for Game 7 during the AM cycle, if I can force it: https://www.whatifsports.com/hbd/Pages/Popups/PlayerRatings.aspx?pid=8544043

He’s starting. I’m just asking if he will tire and lose effectiveness more quickly. In the regular season I run his pitch count at, like 105-110. What is a good count to use in this situation. Pretty good bullpen behind him.
I have always felt there was in game fatigue when going to higher pitch counts. This guys would get 70-75 max pitches from me during the regular season every 4 games in a game 7 it depends on my other pitches and If I felt the drop off was less then they were capable of.

Little advice please: I've got a player about to go free agent in the upcoming season which is just starting. I was thinking of offering a sign-and-trade to the league but the player has ten ML seasons in, all with my club. If I re-sign him please confirm, does that mean he immediately gets a 10-and-5 NTC?

I believe so... make sure (by mousing over his player card) the player has a full 10 seasons of tenure, and not something like 9.159.

Anyone experimented with 0 medical versus 1 or 2 medical and had any conclusive findings to share?

I always forget, when you are doing your budgeting for the season, does your current player payroll assume your players with options are going to resign or that they aren’t going to resign?

It assumes they WILL resign.

A little help, please: I have a prospect who has rejected my initial contract offer (he's showing the red X on the draft results screen), but there's not a link to the negotiation screen in the inbox message. He was a 3rd round pick (I think I had him ranked around 90th on my board) so it isn't the end of the world if he goes unsigned, but I also thought he would make a good guinea pig for the inbox trick since I've never tried it before...do I need to look somewhere else, or is it not going to happen with this guy?

If I recall correctly, the link isn't in the inbox message-- it's in the inbox itself, a little arrow to the left of the message.

Dedelman is right. It is just left of the subject line and is a goldish color arrow.

Thanks...that appears to have done the trick, but I just made the offer again so we'll have to wait until 11:00 EST to see if he signs.

You will probably get a “thanks for the offer. We’re still considering” message next and may decline you again a couple of times but eventually he should accept.

Thanks for the heads up...that's exactly what happened so I'm glad I didn't screw anything up!

What recovery bumps will a pitcher with back spasms get when on the IR?

Stamina and durability.

Elbow and shoulder are the ones where he gains split, control and pitches.
