LOST: NHL team from Philadelphia. Last seen wearing orange and black. Plays in the Wachovia Center, if we remember correctly. Has seemingly spent more time in the Florida sun than in hockey rinks. If found, contact Gary Bettman, commissioner, and tell him the team hates his early-season schedule.

Steam-rolled the Lightning (Stamkos was the only one playing, it seemed) on the strength of 2 each from Carter and Richards.

Nice start to Laliberte's career. Some guy named Lindros was the last Flyer to start his NHL career w/ goals in his 1st 2 games.

JVR is playing well. contributing, setting up guys and doing the little things.

Gags and Briere out (SHOCKING NEWS). These two just can't stay healthy...

Emery is looking solid in net.

Shaping up to be a dogfight in the Atlantic.

Let's not count our chickens just yet, wiggy. Though I am impressed with Razor's work so far, let's see how he does the next time through the Rags, resurgent Devils and a healthy Pens team. If he passes that test, then yes, we've got one.

JVR puts shhots down the Devils road winning streak.

It is amazing how offensively challenged the Devils looked at times in last night's game. Marty ought to be bronzed after his career is over for what he has done for that franchise.

Meanwhile, the Razor just keeps rolling along. He is a real good fit for this team. The D plays with so much more confidence in front of him...Pronger doesn't hurt either.
