I had a chance to get into tonight's mini, but chose not to because of that reason

I got bored with bankroll rules last night as well and paid for it. I need to play less so its a good time for Christmas to come around. Then hopefully I can go back to grinding.

Its hard when you just hover around the same amount for 3 weeks. I got impatient and took a shot and of course bubbled.

I stuck to the $3.80 Superturbos last night. Played 10...6 1st & 2nd. Not a bad little profit for 2hrs. of play. I made up for the day before and am now back to where I started after my big score from a couple days ago.

The 3.80s are a major goto for me. That was part of the problem I stepped up (and skipped a step) to the 15's. I played 2 and bubbled both when getting it in good and not when I was super short either both were very bad calls by opp imo (10 high and then J high). Thats the problem playing out of BR that crippled me. Jumped in the 3.80s and built some back up but gave up for the night after I lost an almost $200 pot in a cash game on UB. I had only bought in for 50 but got most of my money in good on the turn with the nut straight. The guy called my $25 raise on the turn after another caller with top pair and flush draw and got there. Had to pay off the last $30 I think though I was pretty certain. Maybe could of saves some there. (was playing .5/$1 again over my BR)

Took a pretty big hit last night, but my FTP roll is still right at $400 (including the $26 token I won, which I'll have to decide the wisest way to use). Back to bankroll strictness. No MTT's over $12, no sng's over $20 (other than the token, I won't even come close to my sng limit). If I play any cash, I'll be limiting it to .05/.10.

anyone playing event 24?

Basically took the weekend off, then just decided to play a $3.80 45 man superturbo before bed and won it. $56.05 profit.

I thought so. I hope you weren't being sarcastic.

had a horrible night...should've stopped after my AA was cracked 3 straight games

Anyone have a suggestion as to the best way to use a $26 token, good investment-wise?
12/21/2009 7:33 PM
I've never had a token, so I don't know what's a good way to use one...

A great night at the tables, though. Turned $10 into $115.97 at a .10/.25 NL table. Took over $50 from the same guy who was just giving chips away all night. He probably lost over $100 at a $25-max table. It was fun.

Are we still playing tomorrow, what with the proximity to the holiday and all?

Yep, it's on. Part of why we moved from Thurs to Tues, to avoid the Eves. Not sure if I'm playing though.

Ill be playing unless something unexpected comes up. Have taken off from playing since Friday. Needed break but Ill get back to grinding soon.

Shed like 1/4 of my bankroll last night, mostly in superturbos. Variance is just so huge in those.
