not really.  kipper was getting outplayed by ovie and backstrom and semin.  not whoever the hell washington's goalie is.  though i will mention the phrase "dominated".  looks like the real cause of the collapse was a couple of stupid penalties.  (bench minors are always stupid.  too many men being the worst).  :{

 shots were even?  you sound like the Canucks home radio station..maybe its just me but if you get paid 5 times more than the other guy shouldnt you stop a few shots that you have no right in stopping? otherwise you make 2 million..why does everyone coddle these  5-10 million dollar goalies?  you make that dough you need to stand on your head more nites than not

i'm not saying kipper shouldn't have mad more stops, but the first two against him were powerplay goals, the first one when the flames were down two men.  and he was facing the best shooter in the league.  again, i don't get cbc anymore, so i didn't see the game, but just because the shots were even, doesn't mean any of the flames shots were actually challenging.  they have a habit of shooting from the blueline with nobody in front of the net.  :>

Worst period I have had to sit through personally.. spent the third in the saddledome bar... ouch... at least I had Mike Green in my fnatasy, except the other dude had Ovie so bitter sweet...it was ugly.. fitting for a Halloween game

moss is a scoring threat.  meyer has one assist and a minus one rating in eleven games.  i'd rather have moss in the game.  of course i'd rather have meyer playing than tim jackman.  :>

Jackman has been awesome and so have Meyer... Meyer, Conroy and Jackman have been our most consistent lines on more nights than not... they hit, they create pressure and dont allow goals against... I know you dont like Jackman if you look at PIMS alone (2 of his last 3 fights resulted in drawn penalties as he didnt want to go and the other dropped em first) , but he is not a goon like Ivanans, he actually takes a regular shift and contributes.  Surprises the crap out of me cause I didnt like it when we signed him and had Ivanans already.  He makes Ivanans useless.

Moss hasnt been a scoring threat in three years.. that said Iggy needs to be on the benched or Jokinen in favor of Moss... not one of our consistent guys

no, i haven't been watching the games this season.  i don't have cable, and for some reason the cbc i'm able to pick up is french, so i haven't seen a single game.  i just assumed that jackman is the typical goon that beats up the other team's goon and takes bad penalties most of the time.  like most of the so called "tough" guys we've had in the past five or ten years.  especially that piece of crap goddard.  and yes, it's been a couple years since moss was a scoring threat, but i think it's more because of getting injured.  if he's healthy and back into his game i still think he could hit twenty-five or thirty goals.   maybe i'm dreamin'.  heh.  :>
