Bob is also younger and less experienced. Crawford may be a "rookie", but he's been playing pro hockey for 5 years now.

Too bad Pelle Lindbergh never got the chance at a full career.

I still remember hearing the Lindbergh news.  I was listening to my Walkman on the bus going to catch the El on my way to school.  I was a young goalie at the time and he was one of my favorites.  The rest of the day was not a good one for me.

Hey muddy it was you I bet 20 on that the hawks wouldn't make the platings right?

Yep.  Right now, I plan on spending that $20 on something awesome.

But now that Sharp and Bolland are out for a bit, I'm not counting my money just yet.

I'm excited to see what 20 year old Marcus Kruger can do.

indeed, but don't expect too much...I believe he's at least two years away
3/23/2011 9:38 PM
He's a helluva lot closer than two years away from contributing.  He was solid last night and looked very comfy with the team.  He belongs right now.

88 points with 9 games left.  I figure 10/18 points will get us in the playoffs.  No way we finish 9th with 98 pts.

HUGE game tonight.  I'd love to see a regulation win, as points are going to be incredibly precious from now on.

Terrible loss tonight.  That effort in the 3rd was horrid.  Well, we were great defensively, only allowing 5 shots, but if I see another weak wrist shot get blocked I'm gonan ****.  The number of crisp, on-the-tape passes was miniscule.  Crawford was very good again, but Perry is a monster and made the most of his two glorious chances.

perry seemed like he never left the ice that game.

crawford looked solid - the loss might get tagged on his record but it wasn't his fault they lost.

looks like the hawks drop to 8th place.  start rooting for edmonton tonight, up 2-1 on calgary.

Tough loss. But like I said it's gonna be tough without Sharp and Bolland. The team is short on depth in general, but at center ice it's multiplied 10-fold by losing those two guys.

I liked Frolik's game again and his line looks solid, but the 3rd and 3th lines gotta pick it up. Troy Brouwer has been invisible for about a month now and Bryan Bickell has really slowed down since Bolland got injured. those two guys are key to getting the 3rd and 4th lines rolling again.
