Just to clear up some confusion. Since I think I started most of it, LOL.

The "Mega-Bowl" will be in Rupp DII.



Rupp had 76? open DII jobs,,, right now they have 104, without anyone moving up to DI yet. I believe you can expect to see the same continued erosion in other worlds, thus I think Rupp may be not only the best 1/day world for this... but maybe the only place to try it right now.

As far as waiting and everyone starting at the same time in DIII. I'm not sure what good that serves. There are 172 Human coached DII teams in Rupp right now just looking forward to kickin our butts anyway.

The "official" launch of this can be next season.... however, I really believe putting this on the back burner for 2 months is probably a bad idea, and I think the most important thing to making this a sucess may be filling conferences, rather than just a mass run into Rupp DII. Anyone who wants to get a DIII team this weekend, there is nothing to really stop that and those who want to wait until next season,,, I believe we will have alot more to join with you at that time.

I am going to try to get into Rupp this weekend myself, at whatever level is available to me so I can help others to fill conferences, rather than just get there.

We have hopes for alot of inter-conference tourneys in the NC portion of the schedule, and organizing the movement into conferences with people who want this type of competition is probably very important to the sucess of this.

Not all coaches currently in Rupp DII will be thrilled that the playing field is about to be leveled. And the competition in a pretty competitive world is about to get even tougher

So pretty much, coaches that want to get a team now do it this weekend. Others if you cannot join this weekend but would like to tell us and someone (I can do this if you guys want me to) will sitemail you in 35 days or so and remind you that this operation is still happening.

Yepper. We will keep a list of those interested and spam em up with much better information when Rupp gets near the end of this upcomming season.

I'm trying hard not to ask anyone to do anything they don't offer,,, but since you ask.

MrPolo has been doing a great job keeping a list for us, if you can site-mail him and then you 2 can have that job.

I will be making a "master list" so to speak of coaches who want to participate in this once we get it going. Just because your in DII Rupp doesn't mean you care about this at all, so if your already in DII Rupp and want to be a part, site-mail me and I'll put ya down.

I have a division three team in Rupp, depending on how this season goes, I might be able to jump up the next season.
