I know I'm jumping in late, but my .02:
1) I consider it a programming glitch that only RP's, C's, 1B's and DH's ever amount to being semi-legit MLers. This doesn't make much sense and should be altered somehow. The only reason it is what it is, is because under the current ratings system, these are the only positions capable of having a solid player with a 65 overall rating.
2) I don't believe that more 20th Round picks should become all-stars, but I think it would be great for the health of the game if some late 1st-3rd round picks turned out to be DiTR's on rare occasion, resulting in superstars being sprung from outside of the top 10 overall picks. To balance, there could be a 10-20% decrease of these "top" players being non-"DiTR's" and drafted high. Result: realistic, fun, and a smidgen of stick-it-to-the-tanker.
