Promised I'd post this for the couple new guys we've gotten the last few seasons, and as a refresher for anyone else. We don't really have many rules I can think of, so if somethings not addressed, and you're wondering about it, please ask.

League progresses year to year, with only players from that year available.

Owners may keep as few or as many players as they wish from year to year.
(12 man rosters - 1-1-1-A-A Rookies used to help with minutes shortages)

If a player is released, he goes into the Draft for that season.

Undrafted players will be in the following Draft, as long as they are in the
SIM for that year.

If a player is not in the SIM for a given year, but returns later, the player is
on IR for their owner that year.
(Players first go into the Draft the year they appear in the SIM, not the
year they were Drafted in the NBA.)

Keeper Lists must be posted before the Draft starts, and will be considered
final once the 1st Draft pick is made.

Only picks in the next Draft may be traded.
(As soon as 1 Draft is completed, picks for the next may be dealt.)

Draft order for picks 1-3 of Round 1 will be determined by PA Lottery.
Numbers are assigned to all non-Playoff teams in the same manor every year.

All other picks determined by previous years record.
If tied, better / best head-to-head picks before other(s).

Since Draft date & order are posted well in advance, the only "default" picks
are during Round 1, and that's at the completion of the round.
(This is done in case the owner is abandoning the team. It wouldn't be fair
to penalize the new owner. Note, I think this has been done once in all the
years.)

No salary minimum or maximum. There or no "official" tanking rules, but
owners are "requested" to use players at least close to IRL minutes for the
year and are definitely called out if they are not.

Divisions are kept the same year to year, to develop good, friendly rivalries.
