I guess. Still seems like a way to circumvent the rules to me.

Not circumventing the rules... just trying to put together a good team.
When you're not sure what's going to be available, you jump on what you can.
If you'd like to tweak things later- that's what the trades are for...
10/5/2010 2:41 PM
The *Draft* was to take one player from each year, it didnt say you had to keep those same players all year.
10/5/2010 4:37 PM
While building my team in an open roster, I forgot to put my 2002 pick in....that's gonna cost me here at the end.  Crap.
10/5/2010 10:42 PM
Not sure why we're shoving these last rounds together when we've already come this far.  Anyway, if my Round 24 pick is taken by the guy ahead of me, I hope I get another chance at my Round 25 pick as well, since my needs could be different at that point.
10/6/2010 8:44 AM
One at a time, like we have been doing.  Like elduro says--needs change if you dont get a certain player
10/6/2010 9:06 AM
Or if two owners pick the same 200K player, just let them both have him.
10/6/2010 11:08 AM
Ya, why not continue normally for a couple more picks? Especially after the whole "fairness" thing, which i still dont really get.
10/6/2010 12:10 PM
He's still going one round at a time by the looks of it.  I think it was just so he can update quicker, if there aren't any repeat picks

I'm hoping my fielding/pitching can hold off all these uber-offenses you all have collected .

Best of luck to everyone and hope everyone enjoys the season.

I never know how I am going to do.  My primary 11 position players 3 bat R, 2 bat left, and 6 are switch hitters.  All four of infielders and my catcher have a defense range of A+.  My outfield defense is B/A, C+/C-, and B+/B.   Not one of my starting nine has a salary less than $6,000,000 or over $7,950,000.  My primary reserve has 599 AB bats .297/.405/.543 and plays all positions except catcher with decent fielding.   Pitching is good in that my four starters were all big winners and small losers during the years they pitched (I know W/L don't count for much but their other stats were excellent as well for the years selected.) All 4 starters were in the range of $7 mil to $8.5 mil. Bullpen is decent.  Innings maybe a little light with this cap but we will see.
