Jay Cutler wasn't watching Monday Night Football last night. The Chicago Bears quarterback jetted out to Los Angeles to cheer on ex-fiancee Kristin Cavallari during ABC's live taping of Dancing with the Stars. The often-maligned Cutler clapped on camera as Cavallari danced a samba with partner Mark Ballas.

Cutler's appearance led to speculation by People magazine the on-again, off-again couple are back together. Cutler and Cavallari called off their engagement in June after nearly a year of dating.

Some would say its a classy move by Cutler to support his former, and possibly future, fiancee as the former star of MTV's The Hills and Laguna Beach tackles the pressure of dancing live on TV's top-rated show.

Then again, this is Cutler who was blasted by NFL players and fans for leaving the NFC Championship Game with a knee injury in January.

What do you think? Good for Cutler? Or should he have been home studying film in Chicago as he prepares to lead the 2-2 Bears against 4-0 Detroit Lions Monday night?

ive changed my outlook on this one,with the Packers winning and Detroit possibly going 5-0 as well ,i think the Bears will realize this is a must win game..i expect a good game from Urlacher and the Bears defense..Princess will do enough to get it done ..Hester will be outstanding like usual

Did you not watch that display of 'tardness?  Just this sequence alone is fire-worthy....

4th and 1, dumbass calls 2nd timeout after trying to get Det to jump offside...play get stuffed.....Lovie decides to burn his last timeout on a challenge he had no chance of winning.  He cost us 3 pts and 2 timeouts in the span of about 20 seconds.

Cutler has some incredible touch tonight.  Every pass has been damn near perfect.

Case of beer if Detroit wins $600 if Bears win?   hhmmm   my revised prediction is my go to ..at the moment ..find myself cheering for the bears  WTF ?.... money talks
