I agree, dahs. To a certain extent, I care more about the process of coming to a conclusion than the conclusion itself. I don't think dino rationalizes their positions enough. That's a valid criticism.

I haven't talked about this here but I actually worked for several years with the Mother of one of the TRAITORS in Michigan that conspired against our FANTASTIC GOVERNOR GRETCHEN WHITMER. She is devastated and heartbroken. Her son, who I met when he was still a teenager, got completely SWALLOWED by conspiracy theories, general gun-nuttery and a military-type mentality that is common in their family. The family has deep connections to police, the military and government. Make of that what you will but the kid is likely going to FEDERAL "Pound You in the ***" PRISON for essentially being a gullible and dumb little *******. It's a sad example of how easily led sycophants of the LIAR are destroying their OWN lives. I don't know if I feel sorry for his Mom or if it's more of a "the shoe fits so wear it" stance that I've taken. If you surround your kids with guns and symbols and rhetoric about control, power and "law and order" do you really get to be surprised when the kids turn out to be ********?

Trump has burned a lot of bridges the last two months, along with his Covid bumbling, and has created a horrid view of himself and his supporters and defenders.
That does not in any way legitimize all the still unfounded lies and BS the left spread about him and others near him over the last 4 years.
American Politics ARE a swamp, and I fear we won't be emptying it any time soon. In fact, I think it just keeps getting deeper.

Every leader in history, regardless of country, has had horrible lies created and spread amongst political opponents about their positions, their personal life, their family, it comes with the territory of being a leader.

Just because it's 'your guy' getting skewered doesn't change the rules of the game.
