1 - Please explain the breakdown for this that you posted: "3 decades = 2 decades with 8 franchise reps AND 1 decade with 7 reps"
2 - if I like the breakdown arrangement (the above or one of the other options) then I'll choose the Detroit Lions
3 - may I draft players from nonLions' seasons as long as they played at least one season for the Lions?

The Detroit Lions have 9 decades of WIS inventory dating back to 1941. So the breakdown would be:

9 decades total = 5 decades with 3 franchise reps AND 4 decades with 2 reps. This would get you to the 23 roster spots. Only seasons that were played for the Lions. So no Rams seasons for Matthew Stafford.

If you were to choose a different team-- page 1 has the full list of all teams. I have my Jets and Panthers roster listed in here as an example of the breakdown.

Would you like to secure the Lions as your franchise?

Ah, so no twisting players to include having played for teams that aren't the Lions.
FYI: I didn't want Stafford anyway. I'm a Goff fan! lol (though this means not including his Rams' seasons either)
So, am I allowed to choose the "3 decades = 2 decades with 8 franchise reps AND 1 decade with 7 reps" option despite the franchise being much older?

I forgot to ask: does 2025 = decade 2020's or are you putting the decades in the middle to give each decade 10 years, so decade 2016 - 2025, 2006 - 2015, etc?

The theme is for even distribution to represent all eras of each franchise. Page 1 has all the answers for each team.

Lions are 9 decades. You would have to follow the 9 decade distribution listed in bold above.

the 20’s only have 6 years, but everyone is in the same scenario there.

a decade is not in the middle. 1940-49. 1950-59. And so on.

You can safely get Goff, Sanders, Calvin Johnson in different eras and build around that. Billy sims, Gibbs, Herman Moore, Perriman. Some good OL and defenses. Eddie Murray. You do have query for some cheap bench players, but just switch the years and salary amount to specify what you want or need.

Understood,
thanks.

I'll stick with my Lions anyway.
Am now writing it down on my notepad to limit my team to the proper representational structure.

Awesome! Detroit Lions selected.

Welcome winnerpeg. Love the word play there!

By the way, whoever chooses the Cleveland Browns should choose their league team name as "& We're The Cleveland Browns!" (or a shorter version of that like missing the city name ??), due to this hilarious comedian:

Because I wouldn't want to play against myself I wouldn't want to have the Vikings, but because of my being a fan of their northern neighbour, the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the CFL, may I choose that franchise but call them the Winnipeg Blue Bombers?

If not, it's ok.
If I can't, I may or may not choose an AFC team like the Ravens (who I'd love to name the Grey Cup Baltimore Stallions) to help prevent a lopsided league.

Your choice on the team name. I think that is pretty rad myself. Some CFL fandom in here! Warren Moon covers both if you choose the Vikes.

Vikings or Ravens are available. You can claim either.

FYI to all: The Colts have been claimed and entered in the league by WhoCaresAnym. Some edits needed. Sitemail being sent now.

I'm in a great mood now, so I'll take BOTH those teams please! (meaning I'll have 3 teams in your league)

two teams per owner please. Choose one to accompany the Lions. You will have 1 in each conference. Sorry i didn't specify earlier.

WIS has the 24 team format. 6 divisions of 4. 12 teams qualify for playoffs. 1-2 seeds get first round bye.
2/27/2026 2:58 PM
Okay, then forget the Vikings. I'll go with the AFC Baltimore Stallions only. Sorry.
