Brewers : Back in First Place Topic

I have a pair of tickets for Tuesday July 6 that I will probly not be able to use. They are Terrace box row 2 down the LF line. They were free to me, you would need to come near Racine to get them.

Brewers club four home runs and beat Houston 7-5, though the Ax Man makes things a little too interesting in the ninth, allowing one run and stranding two runners.

CV allows three doubles and a walk in a 6-batter span, turning a 2-1 deficit into a 5-1 loss. Brewers lose two of three to Houston. Nice.

They were THAT depressed about missing Suppan?

Brewers top the Cards in St. Louis, 4-1. Kottaras, Prince and Casey go deep. Crazy Ax Man walks the leadoff hitter in the ninth but gets the next three.

Good to see that scoreless first inning thing was a fluke for Narveson.

Indeed. Not that it mattered much tonight.

Brewers get three All Stars, which seems like overkill for a team that's seven games under: Ryan Braun (voted as starter by fans), Corey Hart (voted as reserve by players), and Yovani Gallardo (selected by manager).
7/4/2010 3:03 PM
um, make that eight games under. Nice work, Escobar.
7/4/2010 3:12 PM
Yovani with oblique strain... at least that solves the zim zam in the rotation for now. Doug Davis will replace Gallardo for the time being.

I feel bad.  I was at the game and I thought it was more of an "I'm getting shelled and it's really freaking hot outside so get me outta here" injury.  My apologies.
