Had one that was between 79-80

I don’t remember my total salary, but my ~19,600 minutes that I planned on actually using ended up being 50-53ish depending on the team

I’d say my teams would all be pretty good in the DH52 but not guaranteed winners, which makes sense because Gobert/Harden/Donyell/Zo would be a feasible draft in that league but not anything crazy. Anyone have a good read on how much your ~19,600 is worth?

well...divisions are out...didnt quite turn out as i had hoped but i still think its better than random...maybe we can tweak it some more next time

just looking at my divisions...i have 11 owners twice, 3 once, and 9 not at all

thrilled to miss out on kinoa and ben...but sad to see ash and dbkc twice

I was going to write a quick script for this but then 20ks offered to do it and people liked his stuff... I mean I had enough on my plate so I was happy to pawn it off. Next time around I can take it on.

How many of you put your teams in 1-2-3-4-5 corresponding to your perception of their strength? IE how many of you put the team you thought was best in league #1, worst in league #5, and so on between (or vice versa)?

ohhhh i fuuuucked up big time there...i had every intention of mixing mine up but i was rushing when i created the league numbers and just blindly put them in 1-5...didnt fully realize what i did until after i sent the league#s out...whoops

not even sure if its the order of my best teams but it is 1-5 on the kareems i chose first(71-72 is 1, 70-71 is 2 etc)

I think my teams are reasonably even, all things considered, but I did rank them and put them in kind of randomly because I guessed several owners would do the 1-2-3-4-5 thing.

I did originally put all of my best player seasons (of the starters) in one league and work from there, but I got better distribution of stats by spreading them out a little differently. I went from having one team with 101 usage and another 116 to having all five be in the 107-110 range. When it came to the bench, I originally did the same thing, but figured I'd get more mileage out of my best bench seasons by spreading them out.

All told, I probably spent at least 24 hours tweaking the teams & lineups after the draft was over.

Hoping for 250+ wins. Could be a pipe dream. The Cream is the team I think has the best chance to win it all because, you know, the cream will RIIIIIIIIIIIIISE to the top! Ooooooh Yeeeeee-aaaaaah!!

Except for my good Grant Hill team my teams are all almost identical on the aggregate. There is a clear weakest one but it isn’t that far behind I don’t think. Mine are in a random order based on the first builds I completed.

I think most of mine were around $65 mil?

I don’t totally remember mine but off the top of my head I am not sure I had one higher than like 54.

So my weirdest team is the time I share the division with kinoa1, my best team is the time I share the division with ashamael and my worst team is where I share the division with copernicus and mptrey (and also the one where everyone is saying they put their best team).

Did any of you calculate your team eFG’s? Real curious what kind of numbers people are putting out there?

I haven't finished the detailed/accurate versions. I've done flat averages for the SL for all five teams & weighted by usage SL on one team thus far. The flat average is always lower because I have one lower usage guy with lower efg% that brings it down... when weighted properly, it goes up. For example:

1 (flat avg): 52
1 (true avg): 52.7

all of the rest are flat averages:
2 53.4
3 52.7
4 51.8
5 51.4

I'm strictly using advanced #s here ... not using stat totals since I have a couple of very old players who have a whole bunch more listed fgas than they'll actually take (Hello Oscar my old friend).

Doing defense by flat averages I have no SL less than 70 and no team overall less than 63. When you start properly getting stuff weighted with minutes, those numbers are going up 2-4 points.

So far:

I like most of my teams, despite their glaring flaws, but I'm not sure I'll make the playoffs in any league after seeing most of the rosters. I took a route with my team that was risky, not sure it'll work out in any league. At least now I feel more prepped for season 2.

Okay, that makes me feel good. I am not convinced my teams are super great or anything. But I know your teams are probably very good and my adjusted numbers (how many minutes each person plays and usage per person) for defense are between 68 and 73, and my eFG%'s are between 53% and 55.6%. So if I am in the ballpark of you, that seems like a decent start. At least I can settle into a 9 out of 10 on the panic scale.

You're usually a pretty decent owner in progs from what I have seen. I'd be pretty shocked if you missed the playoffs in all five seasons based on that alone.

Yeah, I'm working on the proper weights as we speak. I don't have anything set up to do all of this anymore so it's been a process. Getting min% & a true usage% (because 20% of 107.7 is not 20% of 100) is key to getting the right numbers everywhere.

also things are more complicated because against certain teams I plan to play different guys more or less minutes so some of these things are harder to predict than others.
