is there a way to fix the minor league free agent offer sheet thingie so i don't get rejection notices from guys wanting a $55,000 minor league contract even tho it seems all i can offer them is a generic 'minor league contract'???

You can offer them ST invites but, beyond that, no. WifS says they sign with the team where they have the best shot at playing time. I somehow doubt that.
