randle...for all your talk about Luongo throughout this last year I have got to say that I think you might be right. Started thinking that way down the stretch but was too optimistic to fully embrace those thoughts. No longer. Roberto had 2 or 3 great games these playoffs. The rest of them he was either average or downright bad. For us to take the next step and get to final or even round 3 for that matter we need some consistancy in the crease. I wish we could trade him but would there be any takers at 6 or 7 mil a season or whatever he is making? I'd be happy resigning Raycroft and going with him and Schneider in a tandom until the better of the two takes over. The money we would save would help us shore up our defence which (after goaltending) was a big liability.

Other players we could part with include Demitra, Bernier, Johnson, Hordichuk, Alberts and yes, Willie Mitchell

I thought the same thing about the Franzen commercial: "What if the Mule didn't kick back?"

Well, I guess they would have lost in four instead of 5.

The NHL is getting a little too far ahead of itself with those.

The Canucks put too much faith in Luongo. The defense can be aggressive offensively, but they were standing around way too much defensively. One of the goals, the defense was on a Sunday skate, with wind blowing through their beards.

And never trust Luongo... always mails it in with big games.

I'm disregarding juskays statement as a batch of sour grapes, as its obviously borne of frustration. The time to gloat was last night. Fans of either team would have had license after winning that series. Now its one to focus on San Jose.

Btw, my first words after the series were not ones of gloating. I was sincere in my words.

What about Bieksa?... two goals last night were solely his fault

At the end of the game, Johnny Rotten came to mind. PIL, The Order of Death.

This is what you want.

This is what you get.

Well in case the Canucks cant come back, you guys had a hell of a season and kudos to all of the real Canuck fans.. you guys had a great season.. art ross trophy, probably hart and Lindsay.. division title. . nothing to be ashamed.. you guys will be strong next year and beyond that... a couple of moves and you guys will be cup contenders.. so peter_puck, delta, styk, juskay.. good season.. sucks to lose out, but you went further than us.. but best of luck next season

This has nothing to do with my bet with juskay.. actual honesty.. you guys were cool.. and as much as I want to laugh I can;t.. Canucks were and are a great team

If the Canucks come back, ha Hawks.. Canucks have been behind countless times this season and come back.. game 7 is theirs!!!!!!!!!!!!

Make it past the second round before you throw around the word great.
Chicago SPORT TEAMS suck at life and SPORTS....CUBS??? HAWKS??? WHITE SOX??? BULLS???.......THE Hot Dogs (with the sport peppers are GOOD) BUt CHICAGO fans are dumb *****!!!

I hope the HAWKS win a cup....But I hope the Chi town fans get a life!!! Win a cup BEFORE YOU THINK..."YOU ARE GREAT!!!"

GET to the finals before YOU GLOAT!!

This is a case of a Guy who wears his heart on his sleave..He is ****** that his Canuckies got beat 2 years in a row by the jerkoff, big, bad Blackhawks...I woulda been crying the same way if the Hawks lost..Poor Juskay...Your Coach Sucks...You guys need a guy who can take you over the top and some veteran Leadership..Also Give the Captaincy to someone else other than the Friggen Goalie. Borat is good but they need a leader on the bench close to the coach during the game. Maybe Kessler would make a good captain or Willie Mitchell..They needed him this series.

I really do still think Bieksa has what it takes to be on a top defensive pairing. I won't disagree that he was the goat a couple of times in game 7. In other games in the playoffs he was a big part of the difference in why we won. The freak skate cut injuries he has picked up the last few years has really hurt his game. If he can avoid getting deep muscle cuts he will be able to develop his game to the point where the good more than makes up for the bad. I'm willing to give him a 'free' pass.
