had a nice run in the $3.80 super turbos last night, winning 3 of 6 and finishing 2nd in another. I also made up my losses from the other night during my rush play. Had a nice double up followed by a couple smaller pots that got me back to even.

$10 rushing last night. I'm going to be very unhappy when I have my first losing session. It's very easy to convince myself I'll catch up when I lose a buyin or two, and luckily, so far I have done so each time. When it goes bad, though, it's likely to go really bad.

I hear ya...had a situation like that a couple months ago.

It'll be new to me. Never felt that way about regular cash games.

Bubbled the final table of a $2 rebuy last night. 10th of 306. Hopefully that's the start of a surge, because basically the last month has been ****.

I saw that. nice job.

I was running real well in a $5KO last night and got over aggressive against one of the larger stacks and my 8s couldn't hold up against him so I finished 300ish of 900

Did have another final table in a $3 90man though so I have been running decent in those.

My ITM % is about 18% right now, which is a ton better than the last couple months.

Tried RushPoker, it's fun until you drop the buy-in on an overpair against a higher overpair.

I couldn't mentally make the adjustment that people are only either playing super-premium hands or super-premium drawing hands. You get pocket Jacks and you're forgetting that you folded 9283792 hands to get there, and that the other guy probably folded just as many to get his pocket Kings.

I was playing it the opposite (and not well) and pretending I had the aces every time. Works until someone has KK or AA...I stopped playing it was killing me.

Still not sure I like it. Playing Rush a couple of times reinforced for me how much of my game is based on identifying the weak links at the table and exploiting them -- it's something you can't do at all in this format.

I can see using some Rush sessions as crash courses to work on specific things if I spot a leak -- patience, position play, that sort of thing -- but I doubt I'll be playing it regularly.

had a horrible night at the tables.

had my KK beat when some guy goes all-in with A4os and hits the flush on the river. Lost all but about 600chips at that point and busted out two hands later when my KQs didn't hold up against 86os

had my AA cracked 2nd hand into a tourney when some guy goes all-in with 88.

Had my straight beat when the guy hits his flush on the river

I called it a night after that, not a fun evening at all.

Victory Poker launched today. I'm half-tempted to make a min-deposit tonight just to be in on the ground floor as it were, but I can't imagine it'll be much use for a while. The website is uninspiring.

As the bubble bursts in the Daily Dollar, I'm running 31st of 1,338. Started with over 10k. Over/under on my finish.....I'll say 305th.

45th of 276. Fighting off the sleepiness.

Out in 78th of 10,533. $10 and change in profit. I have to stop bothering with that tourney.
