Jim - I understand an occasional "protest vote" - but you apparently through away your vote five times??
Maybe if more of us would cast a "protest vote" we wouldn't be forced with such lousy choices everey four years
No argument there - it does seem like such a shame, that in most political races (like the governor's debate I watched here in Ohio last night) that we have been reduced to picking "which one do I think will not screw up as much as the other one".
Although I was joking (at least about the date), I do think a Bloomberg run would generate serious heat and be a real threat.
The problem with presidential campaigns like that though (same thing would have applied to Perot) is that if Bloomberg won, he would have zero Congressional support. Without anyone in the House or Senate to enact his policies via legislation, it's hard to see how much he'd actually be able to accomplish.
