- the increase of European purchases of American oil and the practical ending of buying Russian oil is a very very good thing. I wonder whose idea that was. I have a feeling that it was proposed by the EU.
- Russia will be upset and it will not be helpful to their war effort.
- The extra investment is very good but most of it was already planned. Europe already has over a trillion in investments in the United States.
- The effect on Automakers is not clear
- The only good agreement is one where everyone is satisfied but nobody is happy. Trump is happy. The American public will not be happy when higher prices and inflation result.

Let’s say that it turns out that the only thing that Grump is hiding is the extent of his thick as thieves relationship with Epstein.
Lets say that nothing lurid or criminal is found.

Some Further Clarification to this Sordid Saga

Virginia Guiffre is one of the key people in all of this.
Andrew had the relationship with Virginia, Virginia was always with Maxwell and Epstein and was always introduced to the famous people. She was very prominent and friendly.

The Coming Murder of Medicare and Medicaid

It might not be possible to prevent the catastrophic cuts to Medicare and Medicaid unless there is a miracle.

I think that the only hope is for people like Joe Rogan in particular and others like him to talk to their listeners and tell them what is going to happen..

Old Movies

I have been watching a lot of old movies from TCM and stuff I have found on Plex and Roku and Fawsome.

I finally watched some Mae West movies. I’m sure glad I did. There was a 1933 movie with Cary Grant.
She really did have loads of charisma and talent. And she wrote many stories and songs and dialogue.
She does this thing with her eyes when she sings that blew my mind.

Lots of film noir. black and white classics.
Some pre code movies.
And lots of Buster Keaton and Charlie Chaplin and Harold Lloyd. Wow!!!!

Elizabeth Taylor, Richard Burton, Ava Gardner,
Ginger Rogers, Fred Astaire, Cyd Charese, and one the big finds is Edward Arnold. He was a great character actor. There has never been one better.
I recommend Easy Living also with the great Jean Arthur and young Ray Milland and The Devil and Daniel Webster originally called something else and amazing in Mr Smith Goes To Washington. He has a tour de force speech in Devil and ..,,

Anyone who loves movies should see some of these gems And as a bonus you see cities and architecture from 80-110 years ago.

Any country can decide to stop exporting goods to the United States. There is no law that forces them to avoid new trading partners. They will not only trade with other countries instead but they could get more profits and better results. And these new trading alliances could enjoy the new cooperation and good profits on a “permanent” basis.

There will be scores of little countries who will eschew trade partially as a vindictive measure with the United States and collectively that will have a definite negative impact for the United States.

And when these countries no longer rely on the United States for trade there goes our own influence on them. They won’t care about what the United States wants or needs on the world stage. This is very important. It makes the United States into a paper tiger.

And the big countries will also create new alternative alliances. They already are. Do not ignore the fact that other countries take into account how the American citizens react to what Trump is doing to them. They don’t aim all of their anger to Trump. They look at the people too. Make no mistake about that. It enters into the formula of retaliation and vindictive reactions.

Protectionism has been proven to be a disaster and catastrophe and calamity even more then the blatant lies of a trickle down economy.
Proectionism in action becomes synonymous with Isolation.

Unless you are trying to avoid a communicable disease isolationism hurts the individual and the group and the country. Isolationism leads to weakness and weakness leads to war. That is not a far flung opinion. It is fact. Trump ignores fact anywhere and everywhere. And that’s a fact Jack.
