Of course, if an owner just wants one or two teams, they just pay the $7.99. If they want 3 teams, and have earned enough player points, then, they pay the $9.99, and so on. The fee would be a 3 month debit to your CCard/payment method.

Player points would be given out for playoff appearances/performance and wins at the ML and Minor League levels.

I put another 14 seconds of thought into it.

Without question, there are a lot of unfilled worlds. Without question, there are a lot of rollovers on the way. Happens far too often. Something needs to change.

17 worlds are advertising in the classsifieds, 6 public worlds are unfilled, 21 worlds are eligible to roll in the next 7 days. Just assuming that some of the 27 worlds are also advertising, we've got at least 30 worlds to fill in the next week or so.

I'd be fine with letting the problem solve itself. But, if you want a healthier game, some permanent action has to be taken.

No you didn't. You just changed some numbers. However, you the body of the post the same. It doesn't match.

That's how I know you really didn't put any thought into it.

Plus Pros thru Hall of Famers are paying the same per team each month. That doesn't seem right.

Either way, the game is cheap/inexpensive enough. It's not a cost issue. It's a demand issue.

i demand the cost be lowered

I agree, but some of these guys are having fun fantasizing about the private/public carousel. 'Round and 'round we go, whee! Public worlds go private, private worlds go public, where we stop nobody knows.

I am in a world that just filled up yesterday, it went public about 6 days ago and we had 12 openings. I was expecting a lengthy wait, but we filled up in less than a week. Since I have played HBD I think I have had 1 wait that was more than 2 weeks. Worlds that don't have the ability to survive will die on their own. If they start folding worlds I will start to wonder what might happen to one of my teams down the line. I think folding worlds would be a problem in confidence for many owners, folding worlds will have a unintended domino effect.

Most likely, it would force owners to be careful in the worlds they choose. And force worlds to handle their matters in a way that keeps them viable option to join.

There are at least a couple private worlds that have been looking to roll for about three weeks, and haven't made much progress.

You can't predict what a world will be like 10 seasons from now. When people joined Bragging Rights league did they think you would quit within 10 seasons? It would not only make me careful of choosing a world, it would almost surely stop me from ever joining another world and question if I desire to continue building certain teams if they might be folding in the near future. If I quit those teams I would not be taking on another team.

Then go public. You think folding some current worlds is going to fill those private worlds that have been waiting 3 weeks?

Private worlds can stay private forever under my suggestion.

I'll rephrase: Most likely, it would force owners to be careful in the public worlds they choose. And force public worlds to handle their matters in a way that keeps them viable option to join.
