Duke was blessed with the easiest bracket. Was there any conference champions in that bracket other than Duke?

But, every year some team gets a break

Cool. Except that they actually got the job done. Kentucky is the only team with a legitimate gripe here. Kansas lost to UNI and Syracuse lost to Butler. If anyone watched the Baylor game they can not deny that Baylor was a very good team. The only thing a team can do is play who they are matched up against.

thats pretty fair. its not duke's fault they got a ridiculously easy bracket. and baylor was a tough game, especially being in tx. at least they took advantage of it.

west virginia sucks. kentucky played horrible, but west virginia did not impress me one bit their game against UK or washington. i think if you take teams 80th percentile performance, the best teams out there were kansas, syracuse, kentucky, and ohio state. any of those teams playing each other, both playing well, would have been the games i would love to see this tournament. but consistency killed them all :(

the calls in the first half were sickening. after watching for 5 minutes it was clear there was no way the refs would let duke lose


And yet, Duke didn't shoot their first free throws until midway through the SECOND half. We all know you're a diehard UK fan, but you're letting your hatred for Duke blind you to the fact that they flatout outplayed West Virginia. A West Virginia team that handled your Wildcat team pretty easily, I might add.

I've been biding my time, sitting back waiting, but I can't wait any longer. I've got to laugh at you so-called "geniuses" who said that Duke was "overrated", got the #1 seed that West Virginia deserved, wouldn't make it past the second round, got the easiest draw, blah, blah, blah.....

Let's see, Kansas couldn't get past Northern Iowa. Syracuse got drilled by Butler. And Kentucky, oh Kentucky. The first REAL team they played in the tourney (West Virginia) handed them their *** while using a back-up point guard. Yep, they all sound like the were "rated" just about right.

All I can say at this point is this, "See all you haters on Monday night, and don't get to altogether upset when that "overrated" team from Durham is cutting down the nets".

Of course, it's always the refs that win the games for Duke. Wouldn't have anything to do with Duke actually, you know, having talented players or anything.....
